France – Region of Alès – floating wooden floor

In this 13th century refuge we would lay a floating chestnut wooden floor. It should be produce in regional sawmill, as wished by the owner, and laid above a cement based floor on which many plumbing ran through the room.
Considering the hesitations of the owner facing this gigantic project as well as the specific problems of such a building, I have had the possibility to advice him.
